| Background | Urokinase plasminogen activator surface receptor (CD87/PLAUR) is a ~36 kDa protein. Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. Flow-cytometry using anti-human UPAR antibody. HUCCT cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human UPAR antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog #HX035055, Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog #MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
